Sixt Russia Rental Terms
General Rental Information
Driver has to be in possession of a valid driving license for at least 2 years.
For citizens of the countries not included in the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic dated November 8th , 1968 it is necessary to have an international driving license which is valid only together with a national driving license or a notarized translation of the driving license into Russian with the explanation of the driving license category.
Driver has to be in possession of a passport.
Driving license printed with non Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic etc) must be complemented by an International driving license.
Please show a valid driving license and ID card / passport at time of pick up.
In case of pick up at a meet & greet station, Vnukovo Airport or use of the delivery service the documents need be send to res@sixt.ru beforehand. If this is not done, you will be driven to the next rental station to hand in your documents.
Age Restrictions
The driver has to be in possession of a valid driving licence for at least 1 year.
A Young Driver surcharge of 500.00 RUB per day, 5000.00 RUB per month applies for drivers with an age between 19 and 21 years or with a driving experience from 1 to 2 years.
Conditions of Payment
We do not accept any prepaid cards or electronic cards.
Cash Payment is accepted.
Sixt CarExpress Servicecard is only accepted in combination with a valid Credit Card.
An advance charge approval is obtained for the chosen means of payment as a security.

General Protection Conditions
A police record is obligatory for all protections. In case that the driver does not ensure police presence or a police record, the full amount for the damage and/or theft will be charged to the driver irrespective of the kind of the purchased protection.
Third Party Insurance (TI)
Protection coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a maximum cover of 500,000.00 RUB for personal injuries and 400,000.00 RUB for material damages.Excluded from the protection is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All protection as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's license at the time of the event giving rise to claim, or if the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs or refuses to pass a sobriety check.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Collision Damage Waiver removes the drivers responsibility to a part of the vehicle in case of damage.If CDW is not accepted the customer will be held liable for the full value of the car. If CDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amount:

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive

Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable.
Disputes
If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
